Welcome to Dance’s Sporting Goods. By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Site.

1. Definitions

  • “Dance’s,” “Dance’s Sporting Goods,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Dance’s Sporting Goods, Inc.
  • “You,” “your,” or “yours” refers to any person using or accessing the Site, including purchasers and browsers.
  • “Your Content” refers to any text, images, video, audio, or other material you post or submit on the Site.

2. Eligibility / Minors

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site.
  • Purchases of firearms, ammunition, or restricted products may require you to be 21 years of age depending on federal and state law.
  • The Site is not intended for minors or anyone under the legal age to purchase restricted products.

3. Account & Access

  • Certain areas of the Site may be restricted. We may limit or revoke access at any time, at our sole discretion.
  • Any usernames or passwords you receive are confidential. You are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality.

4. Restrictions on Use

You are prohibited from:

  • Republishing, copying, or distributing Site content on other websites or media.
  • Selling, sublicensing, or commercializing any Site content.
  • Using the Site in ways that interfere with other users’ access.
  • Engaging in data mining, scraping, or automated data collection without permission.
  • Posting unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
  • Using the Site for unauthorized advertising or marketing.

5. Purchases & Store Policy

  • Firearms and Age Requirements:

    • Tactical rifles and other restricted items (e.g., AR-10, AR-15, AK-47, SBRs, SBSs, AOWs, suppressors and bullpup semi-automatic rifles) may only be sold to individuals 21+.
    • All firearm purchases must comply with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Billing & Shipping Requirements:

    • Billing and shipping names must match; mismatched orders will be cancelled and refunded.
    • Orders over $100 may require signature confirmation upon delivery.

  • High-Capacity Magazines:

    • Magazines exceeding local or state legal capacity may not be supplied, except if:

      1. The receiving FFL dealer can legally accept them and convert to compliant capacity.
      2. The purchaser is a law enforcement officer with valid credentials and department authorization.
      3. The purchaser is a licensed FFL dealer.

  • In-Store Pickup:

    • Orders marked for FREE In-Store Pickup must be collected within 30 days or may be canceled, refunded, and charged a 20% restocking fee.
    • Orders mistakenly marked for pickup but intended for shipping will incur shipping charges before dispatch.

  • Inventory & Availability:

    • Occasionally, items may show as in-stock online but have been sold in-store. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or store credit.

6. Shipping & Returns

  • Shipping is limited to the continental United States (lower 48).
  • We do not ship internationally, and shipping to Hawaii or Alaska requires calling (804) 526-8399 x104.
  • All sales of firearms or suppressors require FFL transfer or in-store pickup.

7. Product Descriptions & Images

  • Product descriptions, images, and titles are provided to the best of our knowledge and are intended to accurately represent each item.
  • Some variations may occur; we recommend verifying details with the manufacturer if needed.

8. Your Content

  • By submitting content to the Site, you grant Dance’s Sporting Goods a non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, and distribute it in any media.
  • Content must be your own and must not infringe on third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

9. No Warranties

  • The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
  • Dance’s Sporting Goods does not guarantee the accuracy of product information, availability, or functionality of the Site.
  • Product warranties are provided solely by the manufacturer. Please refer to the manufacturer for repair, replacement, or return under warranty.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Dance’s Sporting Goods, its officers, directors, or employees are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential.
  • This limitation applies to all claims, including negligence and breach of contract, except as prohibited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dance’s Sporting Goods from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Force Majeure

Dance’s Sporting Goods is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather, carrier delays, strikes, pandemics, or government actions.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

14. Proposition 65 – California Residents

  • California residents may not create accounts, make purchases, or use the Site.
  • Any attempted purchases from California are unauthorized and undertaken at the buyer’s risk.

15. Intellectual Property

  • All Site content (excluding Your Content) is the property of Dance’s Sporting Goods or its licensors.
  • This includes logos, images, text, and other intellectual property.

16. Limits

  • Any quantity limits indicated on product pages or carts are per customer per day unless otherwise stated.

17. Refunds

  • Refunds typically post within 5–7 business days.
  • Some banks may take longer to release funds.

18. Privacy & Electronic Communications

  • By using the Site, you agree to our Privacy Policy, including the collection and use of personal data.
  • You consent to receive communications electronically, which satisfy legal requirements for notices.

  • The Site may contain links to third-party websites.

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dance’s Sporting Goods regarding use of the Site, superseding prior agreements.
